It is here, on this respected Gaia, that the Ancients discovered the path to spiritual enlightenment,
leading their spirits to rest eternally in the Heavens. In their great wisdom, the Ancients left behind mystical Keys to allow Men,
once wise and worthy, to leave this underworld and join their elders by journeying on the Path of the Godsà
The Earth witnessed ità
Entangled on Earth by greed and skepticism, Men still prospered, thanks to their knowledge and resourcefulness.
To honor the Ancients, now considered as half-gods by many, they erected temples, high as mountains, across the lands.
However, as years went by, they slowly started to forget about their divine origins and began worshipping false godsà
The Moon witnessed ità
Centuries passed and their civilization was nearing its apogee. Their world collapsed in a matter of weeks: the sky was tore apart by furious storms,
endless rains flooded the harvests. Weakened by hunger, entire herds were falling prey to a malicious sickness. Desperate for food and resources,
neighboring cities engaged in savage and bloody territorial wars. Mass sacrifices were ordered by Priests in a foolish attempt to calm the wrath of the Gods.
The people was slowly falling asleep, soothed by a mysterious Evil Essence. The mutism lasted 300 yearsà
Men witnessed ità
ItÆs in these dark hours that in the heart of Mexico, a stranger arriving from the north entered the city of TenochtitlÓn.
There, he kneeled down facing the rising sun and announced the coming of a prophet whose destiny would be to free the Aztec people from its misery.
He told the citizens that this half-god would have the strength and courage needed to gather the mystical
Keys of the Path of the Gods and that his unshakable faith would allow him to defeat the Evil Essence that was plaguing the world.
As the stranger was leaving the city, Coatlicue, a woman of great beauty who was sweeping the courtyard of the Tzintzuni Temple,
felt a deep change in her. When a hummingbirdÆs feather graciously fell on the ground next to her feet, she knew she had been chosen to bear the Sun GodÆs childà
The hummingbird witnessed ità
At the infantÆs birth, the stranger came back. He took the child, named Huitzilo, under his wings,
teaching him the doctrines and beliefs of the Ancients. He cherished Huitzilo like a son and shared with him all his knowledge.
When Huitzilo reached the age of 17, he decided it was time for him to accomplish his destiny. He picked up his spear and his shield and headed for the Path of the Gods.
Only there he could find the Keys needed to lead his people to salvationà
And the Sun witnessed it.
